FEQL Extension Involvement

The faculty of the FEQL have extensive experience in all aspects of integrated pest management (IPM), crop protection technology, and environmental chemistry and toxicology of pesticides and environmental contaminants. In these areas, our organization provides:

  • The Washington State Pest Management Resource Service (WSPRS);
  • Extension bulletins and other documents;
  • Presentations to grower groups, regulators, professional societies, students, and consumer groups;
  • Information for legislators, regulatory agencies, commercial entities, and the general public;
  • Service on advisory committees, panels, and board;
  • Risk assessments for public agencies, regulators, and private businesses.
